He started his career as a cartoonist and later went on to become the editor of Ananda Vikatan magazine. Some of his notable works include books namely Kaadhal Vaazgha and Vandhargal Vendrargal. He has also hosted his own TV shows and written dialogues for famous south Indian movie starring Kamal Hassan.
