It also elaborately maps the expression of the principles enumerated in the Indian Contract Act. Since the British courts had developed the principles, the book relies on the leading new and old British cases for exploring the principles further. Finally, the work surveys the leading cases from the Indian courts to understand the law in India, and brings out the provisions which are different from the common law.
